Meet fellow enthusiasts, share ideas, and learn from inspiring speakers in a friendly environment dedicated to all things stitching. Arun Creative Stitchers is a friendly group of sewing enthusiasts who gather regularly to share ideas, exchange techniques, and inspire one another. Our group welcomes all skill levels, creating a collaborative environment where everyone can learn and grow. Whether you’re into embroidery, creative textiles or just love fabric, you’ll find welcoming faces and plenty of creativity here. Join us to improve your skills, discover new projects, attend innovative workshops or simply enjoy the camaraderie of fellow stitchers. In addition, members can take part in exhibitions, the July Garden Party and our December Christmas tea party. Please see our Programme for 2026.
EVENTS
In April 2026 we held a very successful Textile Exhibition within Arundel Museum. The theme was ‘Tulips’ to concide with the Tulip Festival at Arundel Castle. We were very lucky to have Georgina, Duchess of Norfolk to open the Exhibition for us and from our visitors book people were very impressed with the pieces they viewed. The Museum reported that some 450 people came through during the time the Exhibition was open.

Our meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, though on occasion we are flexible to attract good speakers. We meet in Arundel Museum for our main meeting on the 4th Monday of the month, and on the 2nd Monday at Barnham Community Centre for our informal sit and sew sessions. We are always delighted to welcome visitors and new members. Visitors can enjoy a taster session for £6 before becoming a member. For more information please see our Info for New Members page
